The Lost Love Mourning Gothic Fairy Sculpture is a finely crafted, highly detailed work of art from the Anne Stokes Collection. Anne Stokes is the supremely talented fantasy artist that created this figurine she titled, Lost Love. Black filigree fairy wings curl behind this elegant enchantress and their edges form a heart just over her head. This sad fairy seems to be grieving for her lost love as tears fall gently from her tender eyes. Dark filigree tattoos cover her upper arms and her dark hair, that features a white streak in front on one side, perfectly frames her exquisite face. A black filigree choker necklace covers her throat in an unusual design and she is wearing a black leather corset top and skirt. Black netted fingerless gloves cover both arms as she sits crouched on the ground holding onto a large carved sword with both hands. There are filigree designs down the blade of the sword with a large carved heart at the center of the handle. We will never know but, perhaps the sword belonged to her lover that has just been lost in battle. Anyone that has ever loved deeply and lost their love can appreciate and enjoy this fabulous Gothic fairy figurine.
