Description
Byers' Choice Gingerbread Witch #7237.
Our Gingerbread Witch draws its inspiration from the popular German fairytale, "Hansel and Gretel," penned by the Brothers Grimm. In the classic story, the Witch is described as an old, hunchbacked woman with a crooked nose, wrinkled skin, and disheveled attire. She typically has a wicked and sinister expression on her face, accentuating her malevolent nature.
Abandoned in an ominous forest, Hansel and Gretel encounter the wicked witch residing in a tantalizing house made from gingerbread and candy. Intent on devouring the unsuspecting children, the witch plots to fatten them up. Fortunately, the siblings work together to survive the perils of the woods and the witch, and emerge triumphant at the end of the tale!
Byers' Choice Gingerbread Witch is masterfully hand sculpted and painted with a beautifully expressive clay face.
