Part of the Dickens' Village Series from Department 56. Victorian England at the time of Charles Dickens was a center of culture for the world, where many traditions we celebrate today took shape.
In A Christmas Carol nephew Fred is a fairly minor character but serves as Scrooge's only family member who believes in redemption as shown by his yearly invitation to his Uncle to celebrate Christmas. Even though his Uncle Scrooge says Christmas is a Humbug, nephew Fred holds out hope that his uncle will accept the invitation.
