Part of the Dickens' Village Series from Department 56. Victorian England at the time of Charles Dickens was a center of culture for the world, where many traditions we celebrate today took shape.
Part of "Bond Street Shoppe" sub-series. Paying homage to the rich British tradition of ladies dressed in fine hats. Large sign on the side distinguishes this building as the "Hat Maker To The Queen". Note the royal crest on the top between the towers. Red felt curtains, rose colored awnings, and receiving area on the side stacked with bolts of fine fabric help set this building apart.
Other details are found in the apartment on top, windows, curtains, skylight to the roof.
